Question Denso Iridium Plugs?

Have any of you guys tried these before? I don't want to fall into the trap where "it cost more, it must be good..." What spark plug do you recommend? If you had a choice, would you get these plugs or a pop charger -->Im usually under 3k revs :o, i only redline when someone with a bumble bee exhaust try to pass me

I would go for the intake in a heart beat over the plugs!!!!

In fact I would stay away from those plugs! I have heard from several sources that they are not the best for your engine!

Do Higher Performance Spark Plugs work?

Can anybody confirm that higher performance spark plugs actually give you more HP? IF so which ones are recommended for Maximas? I've got a 97SE. Any insight into this would be good to know. The POP charger is a proven HP gain, so I would easily take that over the plugs and I imagine the POP costs only a little more, but if good plugs can give you even a couple more HP I think I'd be willing to invest for that incremental gain myself.

I don't think the gains are worth it and unless I heard wrong they are flat out not good for you engine! there are plenty of other mods to free up HP.

These plugs work awesome on the Accord V6 (had one with intake and Denso Iridium plugs, then got totalled by some moron) with dyno proven gains that are significant enough that you could really feel. But I think the consensus amoung Maxima owners is that they don't do squat for the VQ so I'd avoid them for this particular car.

OEM NGK Platinum plugs are the best spark plug for our cars. Actually you can save a few bucks and get the standard NGK copper plug, the only disadvantage is that you have to change them every 30K. Platinum tip plugs last well over 60K.
