Any Info. on 64' Chevelle 300
Ok...85 yr. old aunt has a 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle 300. It is a 6 cyl., stick on colum, hardtop. My aunt cannot see anymore and has asked me to sell this car for her, but I am at a loss as to the "true" market value of it. I cannot find any info. on it online for some reason, but I myself, am not a car person either so I thought I would try here. Any insight, direction or help anyone can offer would be great!
What I know about the car is this...It was my aunts first and ONLY car. She bought it brand new for around $2,200.00. It has always been garaged, and she always washed it before putting it in. It has 60,000 original miles on it, this car went to Dr.'s appts. and church, she took the bus to work. The body is perfect, not a ding, paint chip or any rust. The interior is immaculate, no wearing, burns, fading, etc..this car is literally show room quality to the eye. If it made the slightest noise, she took it to the shop. Probably got taken a few times from some shafty guys who did work that did not need to be done. Other than tires, spark plugs and oil and gas, as far as I know, everything on this car is original. It is teal and white in color. She continued to drive it up until a few months ago when she lost her license because of her eyesight.
If someone would be so kind as to give me any insight on how to present this car in true manner to potential sellers, I would be very greatful, what is this car worth? where can I find info on it? I want to be an informed seller, and just get my aunt a fair price for the car. I thank you in advance!
