88 Bronco II TFI fails

hey,

my bronco II tfi fails when driving down the road. or at highway speeds. now my question is about how hard would it be to convert it to a newer 96 TFI module were it is located on the fender or in a less exterme heat area. or if not how can i get it so it does not fail on me when i am going down the road. cause it gets very annoying. and if it is possible to convert it to the 96 TFI module what would i need.
