I wanna switch my 91 cavalier from automatic to manual.But i cant find the parts anywere is this possible and if so were can i get the parts

you would spend more on the swap then the car is probably worth.

not really… If you have as mush tied up in your's as I do mine ($6000 just maintenance plus $1800 I paid for the car 5 years ago) about $500 to switch it over isn't that bad. All you need is a manual trans., clutch and brake pedals, shifter assy., console and a new hole in the firewall. You'll have to hunt for the parts at junkyards and do the work yourself but you could probably get it all for less than that. The guy that put a new 2.2 in my 92 (after spinning a bearing) did it for $600 w/motor, yeah, he's cheap! But he switched his to a stick CHEAP! He told me if I paid him for the parts that he already has he'll doit for less than $500. Good Luck!
