Question What's your truck's MPG?

I'm still on my first tank of gas:

04 Dodge 1500 Quad Cab 3.7L 5 speed 2wd 3.92 axle, on 245/70R17

Will report once have some stats. Have looked, but found no detailed forum on people's mpg.

1st tank: 16.2 in mostly city driving.

Re: What's your truck's MPG?

I just sat down and did an average for the last 10 refuelings and i am getting 14 mpg city/hwy combined. My highest single fuel up mileage was 19 mpg city/hwy combined. I am guessing but it should probably get mid to high 20's strictly on the hwy. Not to bad i think considering the oversized tires and a heavy size 13

Gear ratio 3:73
Tire size 255/85/16 (33.3" tall when new)

Re: What's your truck's MPG?

93 S-10 4.3L 4spd. w/ OD gets:
26 MPG @ 55MPH
20 MPG @ 110MPH
16 MPG city

86 K-20 5.7L 3spd. gets about 10-12 MPG everywhere. I've never had it at high speeds long enough to see the mileage when the 4-barels open up, but I think it would be measured in gallons per mile then. I used 3/4 of one tank (roughly 15 gallons) going about 10 miles at full throttle. I know that doesn't seem possible, but unless there was a one time guage malfunction, it happened. It's just a good thing I got dual tanks on it.
