New Suburban
Hello!
I'm totally new to this site, so any help would be much appreciated! I'm in the market for a 02' or 03' Suburban with roughly 25,000 miles. Is there anything specific (problems) that I should be looking for when it comes to these vehicles? I have 1999 with 85,000 miles and it is totally falling apart (transfer case, head gasket, fule pump, air conditioning, needs new brakes about every 12,000 miles (I'm not that hard on brakes either) etc...). If I could avoid some major problems on my new Suburban like I have on my current one, life would be a lot less stressfull! Thanks!

Sounds like you've had your share of problems with your '99 which is not the norm for this vehicle.
I think that the later Suburbans have had a few things changed for the better. Remember that '99 was the first year for the Silverado which is the same platform as the newer Suburbans. The '99 Silverados had their share of 'glitches' I think (hope??) that GM has worked some of these out. As far as I'm concerned, the Suburban is the ultimate. Good luck with your new ride! -slacker
