Re: blown third gen.

Why bother with that ? If your trying to put it to a v-6 3.1 or 4.3 or an 8 305 or 350 , DSOn't waste the money. Just get a crate 383 with 450 HP and throw it in there for about 2100.oo , I've seen a few on ebay for sale and some crate 350's with 355 motor HP.

Re: blown third gen.

well, generally centripetal supercharger kits are around 3-5 thousand bucks. i dont know how much the roots style chargers run for, but its not just an easy bolt on type of deal. there's a lot of clearance issues, fuel capabilities, and drive train concerns when force inducing an engine...

Re: blown third gen.

^^ supercharging is a ton of work. plus you will probabley need new pistons to lower your compression.

Re: blown third gen.

well if anyone changes to force induction you really should build the rotating assembly; harder pistons, stronger rods, machined crank, better rings.

Re: blown third gen.

well thats a personal preference, if your down with spending the cash and putting the effort into forced induction, than it can be extremely rewarding...
