suspension upgrade

I have a 2004 Silverado 2500 HD 6.0L / crew cab.

I had my chevy dealer raise my torsion bars about 2 inches.
I think he did less though.

1. How high can I go without any abnormal wear and tear?
2. What is the maximum you would recommend for the rear, if I added helper springs, without having to worry about abnormal wear?
3. Will I need to replace my rear shocks? If so any recommendations?
4. How high can I raise my front end before I need to replace the front shocks?

P.S. I just installed an Airaid filter, MIT tube and Power Aid. Very happy with the results.
I have 285/75/16 for rubber.

Any higher than that you'll likely want to go with a suspension lift kit; all the angles and such in your steering (and alignment) will be off.

Do you mean a 2" lift front and rear is max?

Crank up the torsion bars 2" max, and go with 2" Helper springs in the rear?

Should I change the shocks all round?

Everything else should be OK once I do a re-alignment?

Not sure for your vehicle what the max would be. Was speaking generally for lift, it will throw off all sorts of angles; you'll likely have to get an alignment if you go too high; a good aftermarket suspension lift kit (if you're planning on going way up) from Skyjacker or someone similar would be a good idea, they include everything you need to bring your truck up to where you need it. A little more research seems to be in order. Good luck with your project, sorry I don't have any hard info!
