Re: What is there to do?
well if its an internal combustion 4 stroke engine, its the same thing in your car, so you can do anything to your bike that you would do to your car
why do people think a motorbike engine is different to any other engine? *shrugs*... strengthen it, lighten it, nos it, turb it, bore it, stroke it, do what you want to it the possibilities are endless..

Re: What is there to do?
The type of customization depends on the type of bike....
Almost every motorcyclist changes their exhaust. the benefit is usualy added power and improved sound. Cruiser types usualy modify to improve/alter the appearance of their bikes. Paint, chrome, leather, etc. Sportbike types usualy modify for power and performance. Suspension, brakes, motor work... There are some common cosmetic mods like graphics and windscreens. One mod for almost every fuel injected bike is a Powercommander www.powercommander.com It lets you tweak the fuel injection with a laptop. To a noobie, mods to a sportbike are sometimes harder to pick on. |
