Hi. My name is Shumyyal, and good luck pronouncing that. I live in San Diego, CA. My D.O.B. is July 18 1983. I go to college and plan to transfer to San Diego State soon. Majoring in dentistry. Currently work at an office building as security/lobby reception. Hobbies include cars, weight training and art.

I am nuts about cars. I draw them, work on them, my life pretty much revolves around them. Its scary to the point that I check out more cars than women.

I got my first eclipse as a complete fluke. It was a deal so I bought it, but had never actually planned to get one. 98 GS Spyder. I modded the exterior to the max, and then craved a turbo after driving my friend's GST. Swapped mine for a GS-T spyder later on, and I have had it for one year now. I LOVE eclipses. I am a die hard fan now. I think the 2G Eclipses are the best looking cars in their class BY FAR. No competition. .

AF has been the best thing to happen to me as far as increasing my knowledge of my car goes. I have learnt A LOT in very little time and started working on my car with the help of the regulars on here.

Ray Calderon here....Im Irish and half Guatemalen. Everyone makes fun of me because i cant speak spanish. From Chicago (born and raised) and I go to school in indiana(Junior)....Im currently changing my major to biology and going to optemetry school. I actually was in the process of buying a baraccuda for myself after high school, but when i saw my friends rs...i couldnt take my eyes off of it, and reading up on the eclipse i found out they come stock fast as hell....so wanted to buy a gsx, but after looking around so much and no success, i bought a gst and i love it...I have learn so much with the forums after joining in Nov. of 2003. Im still not a pro at this car, but with all the help of you guys, i will eventually. My gf gets pissed off because im on the forums at least 20 times a day. Even my school work is starting to suffer lol..

as for the personals: Brown "spikey" hair, tall, skinny and fit, long walks on the beach and reading mystery novels. If interested give me a call !

Just like 2 years ago I start loving cars, and that starts when I bought my first 95 RS, I had it only 2 month then I trade it for a 98 TSI AWD (nice deal), a 98 ESI and so on, now I already had 4 DSM and the last one MY PROJECT 95 gs-t.

I dont know much about cars, but since joining AF i have learned alot. I have to say i have read alot about dsms, but its really hard trying to learn something w/out applying it. These days i try to actually work on the car with my bro.

I am currently attending college studying Computer Science/Information systems. I am planning to transfer to University of Maryland in the spring. You ask how? I say, i have a brain, and i seem to use it to my favor .

I am a big soccer fan, support Real Madrid (a club team from Spain for those who dont know). I play soccer too, not that bad either.

I just stalk 95 GSXracer, and have read everything he typed since 2003. I was jealous when they made EclipseRST a moderator, but then I saw the post about it and realized I was a mod too.

I was a newbie at AF, then when I felt like I knew a little bit, moved up in forums, and am currently a newbie with the NABR people. Meeting lots of important people and their fast cars, unfortunately I don't impress them any with my vast experience.

Paid $12,000 a few years ago for my 97 Talon TSI AWD. Had 35k miles, 3 years of warranty, and the motor/brakes/turbo/clutch had 49 miles on them. Pussyfooted around a few thousand miles, and the car currently rests in Alaska with 46k on her. Moved to Colorado Springs for college(computer engineering), and my car is coming down next summer with plans for the fastest street car ever conceived, 16g.

Car has a cheap ricer filter, home depot intake pipe (thanks kevin), 3'' apexi turboback, brode UICP, 1g BOV, and a BBC MBC. Can't forget the boost gauge/gauge cluster pod . Total costs are around $475. Should have run 13.7's, but I turned the T25 to 21psi like a retard and it misfired all the way down the track to a 14.4. Oh well. Car won't see the track until it has another $7,000 into it, next summer.

Oh yeah, I'm 18, but 21 on the weekends and at the store.

Next summer, I'm going to ship the car from Alaska to Seattle, then drive it to Oregon and buy Dallas J's (RMDSM) Big 16g. Ported, clipped, 34mm flapper. Search 34mm flapper posts by Kevin to see how dumb I am. Then, I'll drive to Sacramento and beat up on some Hondas, drive to Colorado Springs, get all my shit to college, then fly to the '05 Buschur DSM shootout in OH to party with Kevin and Jake.

I'm Joe, a 20 year old college student from St. Petersburg, FL. I'm currently attending school at UVa, majoring in English and Anthropology. Future plans include being a high school teacher for a couple of years, then probably attending law school, most likely at Univ. of Florida.

I've had my 96 Talon Tsi Awd for about 8 months now, and it has been a joy to drive every day. Like many of you, I browsed this forum on AF for many months before actually posting, but in retrospect, deciding to become a member of the forum community was one of the best things that could have happened to my car knowledge (and my car!).

There are some very experienced members on this board, and they have a wealth of knowledge that they have shared and are willing to share. So search first, and then ask questions!
