gas coming out of exhaust

my brother has a 95 or 96 cavilier, when he goes to turn it on, it starts to leak gas into the exaust

Put a spark plug and a coil in there and go nuts!

lol im with Ace on this, spark plug and let that baby burn. Other than that its prolly a bad catlyitic converter, but im not auto guru.

he also might have a blown head gasket dont quote ne on it though
