Unhappy '04' G35 Coupe MT consuming oil

My new G35 is consuming oil. At 3,500 miles the oil pressure light came on, I had it towed to the dealer and they told me there was less than a quart of oil. Damn! I thought. Well now after monitorintg it for a couple of thousand miles, yep it looks like it is consuming oil. It is going in next week for some more tests.

I don't know what the protocol is, but I got the dealer to give me the extended warranty at his cost, so now I am thinking I want Nissan to pick up thet cost to the dealer. Any suggestions??

Also, when the dip stick(isn't that the most ridiculous type dipstick you have ever seen??!) is at the "L", would that indicate 1 or 2 quarts low?

Thanks for your time and replies.

Should'a gotten a Z

Let em run the test's, something's defective, or you ran it too hard too early in the engine's life before the seals could wear in... and now it burns oil.
