Was There Any Clicking Noise With The Flashing Lights. I Have Seen A Low Battery Cause The Instrument Cluster Lights To Flash Fast.

Is it automatic? or Manual? It could be as simple as a switch or something out of adjustment.

If Automatic make sure neutral safety switch isn't bad, (possible shifter is out of alignment, check transmission for this switch.)

If Manual check the make sure the clutch switch (just like above) is working, if this switch is bad it will think that the clutch isn't pushed in.

also check voltage in battery, check that there is oil in motor (motor could be locked up?) or bad starter (test starter out of motor).

Let us know your findings.

J.
