My rear left tail light cover is broken.
First off... where do you go to buy a replacement cover? Second, how on earth do you remove the broken cover. I'm sure this is simple to do but difficult to explain. If someone knows where to find the URL of a diagram and instructions online I'll gladly use that to figure it out. Of course, if someone feels like going to the trouble to explain it, I'd appreciate that too. Thanks! |

I think the tail light cover is held in with an epoxy. I need to replace the left back up light cover. I have the whole tail light assembly. I think you would need an epoxy release of some sort.
Edit: Nevermind, I posted about the wrong part. The back up light covers are held in with an epoxy, but the left and right tail lights are held in by three screws. If you open the trunk and remove the fabric cover that is on the other side of the light, it will reveal three screws. I think you need to take those off and then you can replace the cover. replacements can be bought at the dealership, car-parts.com, ebay, etc.
