what should this cost
I was looking for something to just give me a bit more pwer and not spend alot of money on the engine, and I know you can make a CRVTEC but right now I cant afford all that, I am thinking of just putting my LS top end onto a B20B block, and that way right now, I can just use my head, my intake, throttle body, headers and exhaust and everything. right now would you agree that i got about 160HP, 132 ft/lbs torque at the fly, thats my guess (I have DC 4-2-1 and inexpensive intake and exhaust)
well, with the I/H/E and the 84mm bopre and not the 81 bore, would I at least get about 135-140HP and like 125 ft/lbs of torque at the wheels? I figure for the price I could sell my B18B block for it will pay for half of my new(used) B20B block, and propbably for less than the price of nos, I will have this addd power available all the time. plus with the 84,mm bore, couldnt i rev higher because it is closer to the rod/stroke ratio or something, or is the stroke of the B20 also completely different. and how much is it to get the head to fit the 84mm bore, or do i have to do this, I dont want to because it will lower my compression til I could get new pistons. and how much would it be on average to have my trany rebuilt with a GSR 3rd and 4th? I found a comp[lete ACT clucth kit for 450 I want and thn sauy spending about 3-400 bucks on a used block, and selling mine for like 150, and having the tranny rebuilt, for say 600(?) then it is under 1500 whih is what I will be able to save from looks to give to perfromance, and this should give me mucgh better performance with thre new power and torque and the closer gear ratios, and I can kkeep the same cruising 5th. |

I'm really guessing on this but expect to pay about...$6000 installed. Thats a rough estimate. I just know that it's going to take a lot of money to do the CRVTEC.
