Anyone know how to get rid of that my-search.cc homepage hack thingy?

Everytime I start my IE it automatically sets my homepage to "http:\\www.my-search.cc"

Anyone know anyway I can get rid of this sob?

dont know, never had it do that lol. Just dont restart your computer.... lol computers are fool proof rock solid machines, you should never have to restart. heh if you believe that I got some beach front property in arizona I'll sell you.

Did you install any new programs recently? Chances are you got some kind of adware downloaded that sets it back everytime you restart. Do you run any kind of adware removal programs? If you don't I'd recommend Ad-aware and Spybot - Search and Destroy. Chances are one of the programs will find the problem (and many other problems).

I have spybot seach and destroy, it finds something, but it still doesn't work

you need to upgrade to the newer versions of spybot and Adaware. The old ones don't get the computer cleaned. Trust me. Both programs were just updated within the last 2 months. Go to download.com and download the newer versions
