Re: Knock sensor

Look on the engine block just above one of the freeze plugs. Usually they are on the back side of the engine block. You will need a 1/4" pipe plug to stop coolant loss unless you drain the coolant. Or if you are quick enough you should be able to replace it without losing much coolant. I would check the connector first as it may just be corroded or loose.

Re: Knock sensor

if you can reach it and take that section off, you could just solder it back together. just make sure you have a good connection and use a shrink wrap on it. just make sure you find out what cut it first before you put it back on. i don't think you have to go to the stealer for this.

Chompipe, I'll check my service manual disks tonight to see if I have an end view of the plug and pigtail.

I'll let you know.......that is if I don't get banned in the next day or two. I'm having a bit of an issue with one of the mods on here right now. He doesn't like the fact that, although I'm not getting a paycheck for trying to help people here, I'm not all business all the time. Guess we'll see. BTW, the mod I'm having trouble with IS NOT GTPDAD, he's great!
