2.2 Fuel Injectors

How hard is it to replace the #4 injector in my '95 Cav? Seem to be bubbling fuel out after engine is shut off. Is this something that can be done by a backyard guy or does the job require special tools/testers???

Fairly easy. I highly recomend getting a manual or someone with experience to help though. Good Luck.

Just replaced #1 fuel injector; put in new O-ring on #4 fuel injector; and put in new fuel pressure regulator (FPR) on my 96 Cav LS. Pretty simple. If your 95 is same as my 96 2.2, you will need to depressurize fuel line; remove the intake, the throttle line, 2 screws on the fuel injector bracket (t-30 torx bit). I did remove my FPR in order to pull up the bracket. Once the bracket is off, carefully ply up the fuel injector with screwdriver and then pull it out by hand.

Keep in mind that a leaky fuel injector (as in my case) can be result of a faulty FPR (too much pressure and leak at weakest point).

Thanks!!! Don't know if they're the same or not but I was able to get mine out without removing the Intake Manifold. So far seems to be holding. Now if I can just get the darn fuel filter off......

"Remove intake" means the intake manifold (big job), I believe since I have done the job that you meant the intake snorkle.
