track time
hey guys i went to try out my new engine at the track tonight(first time ever). the best out of 8 was 15.569. i still have the stock exhaust. you guys with the b18a what was are your best times.

i dont have one but their usually faster than that. Can you put up your slips so we can see your 60' times, trap speed and all that?

yeah, cant remember who but someone on the forums has a b18 and runs a low to mid 14.

oh can an exhaust make that much of a difference. also i am not the best driver. it was the first time at the track.

You probably just need to learn to drive a bit better. Practice makes perfect. Keep that foot to the floor during shifts too.

I think so definetely. Our cars breathe through a damn straw from the factory. They flow much better when they are opened up. Especially with the bigger motor you have. If you get a header and full exaust I think you will notice a big difference. |

alot of people *say* you should be running 14s with a b18a, but in my experience, i have never seen a b18a hatch run faster than a 15.2 or so.

humm well the times were 2.358-9.975 ET 15.595 mph 88.136

You also have to remember the b18a has like 127ish horsepower. While the b18b has around 142ish. Maybe thats why people tend to think that all b18's should be in the 14s.
