Re: Worst trade in value EVER?
Since the line was discontinued you can count on it.

Re: Worst trade in value EVER?
I would feel more confident trading in a Kia Spectra, w/ a missing roof, than the intrigue i have now.

Well, what can we expect. These are GM products. I just got off the phone with radiator repair guys who knew before I even told them where my radiator was broken!! They said this is happening to all Oldsmobiles: Auroras, Intrigues.....blah, blah, blah. And I received a promotional packet from Chevrolet for the new Cobalt........
I bought the damn car to keep peace in the family (GM worker, retiree) and have regretted it ever since. It's sad really. I used to be so proud to be a GM family member. |

Re: Worst trade in value EVER?
I had the intrigue 3 yrs, went to roughly 12 foreign car dealers over summer, was offered no more than $2000 for my intrigue at each stop. They said take it or leave it. I bent over and took it. The pair of v6 accords we have, have more power, better handling, and they might last a while. AND i wont get screwed in 3 more years. forget RIP, good riddance to olds.

Have been shopping my 02 around at Honda & Toyota....yikes. Didn't think it would be so bad. I'm quite concerned about the reliability of this car....and I'm still under warranty!!
