check this out. i have a 90 hatch with a B18A was driving down the street and the car bogged then stopped and smoke started to come from the intake. some of my friends told me it could be my piston rings or my head gasket. please help with some info on what it could be

the car won't start. it wil try to stay on, but nothing and some times smoke will comeout whe we are tring to start it

sounds like it has something to do with the fuel,
not for shore what,but if its trying to start,thats what it could be, get a fuel pressure gauge & check the fuel pressure coming out of the fuel line,from the fuel filter, you might be able to find somthing out from that,

check your distributor cap and rotor, and see if your getting spark on the plugs.
