whats ur friday night like?

just curious what everyone usually does on their friday nights? Its funny how as you get older they change, i know im not that old, only 20 but they have changed drastically. IN high school i used to love to go out on friday nights, get trashed, go to games, parties and such. But then i got arrested for drinking and driving which kinda killed my social life. Now i usually spend my friday nights with my girlfriend being lazy and other stuff . We go the movies sometimes, eat out, rent movies, sometimes we go to parties and such. But its funny, i have more fun sitting home with her on a friday night than i do partying.

So what do you guys do?

Right now, I work every other weekend (night shift at the old prison) so I am either at my desk watching military convicts, or sleeping early so I can get up and slay salmon in the morning. It's full bore salmon season here in Seattle.

Dont stay out late on Friday's cause I work Saturday mornings at 8:30 which means I have to be up at 7 which means I have to be in bed around 11-12.

well, today I jammed with a friend and wrote some cool songs, then I went out searching for parts to a special FX machine thing I have to make... unfortuantely I didn't find them and I'm afraid I will have to have them custom made, at a much greater cost

I would like to go out and have fun with friends or even do some smokey burn outs in my car, but after a 50 hr week of pretending to be an accountant, I am too tired and wound up to do anything but relax.

Well for this Friday, Some friends came over and hung out at my place. Ate pizza, played videogames did wierd things. civicgrlco2005 went crazy at the get together. LOL...

I spent the last 5 hours working on AutoCAD and doing some orthographics by hand.

My Friday... working. Once 6:30am this morning rolls around, I am a free man! Saturday night = drinking heavily.

I sit around and feel sorry for myself Seriously, I need to get a girlfriend or become a heavy drinker, or something, just so I at least have an excuse. The problem with Fridays, I think, is that most of us are so tired from working all week, that it ends up a wind-down night. Which just gets depressing because I'm too tired to do much, and when I hang out with people, they're oftentimes the same way. Saturday nights is the party night (I hear,) but I'm not much of a partier, and unfortunately Saturday night is the oldies-remix night at the place where we go glow-bowling on the weekends. So Friday night is usually the better night to go (Dance/Pop night.) But, again, Friday nights usually find myself, and many of my associates, in a less than vivacious mood. Perhaps if I made more money I could make more options... I don't know, it's too damn late to think about this stuff, and it's a Friday night, which means A: I'm tired, and B: I have to work tomorrow.
