Question over mileage?

How long would a 1998 Gs-t last wit around 104k miles? haha im just wondering. if it would last a couple of years is it possible to bring to a mitsubishi shop n get a engine rebuild for less then 3g's?

i have 147,xxx miles and everything is structurly sound and runs great....

i have seen stock 6 bolts with 30k on them over at ebay ,for around 600-1200

hmm that seems a lil too high.. well im still wondering if its possible to make an eclipse last longer by rebuilding the engine at the mitsubishi shop.

You don't rebuild it to make it last, you BLOW it, then rebuild it so it works again for a while. But yes, you are on the right track. You can rebuild a motor...

from what i learned here if you have a 4g63 and especially if its modded.. its not if but when.. so plan on a rebuild sometime in future.. sides rebuilds and replacing crap becomes great excuses for building it back up twice as fast... muwahahahahah

just wanted to say i have over 230 k on my car and im still running strong
