Sub to HU temp.
I just got ahold of two 10in. jbl subs that are dual 4ohm, and I want to test them to see if they work before I buy them. I have a kenwood kdc-mp625 hu that has rca preouts x 2 200w max. What wiring would I need to hook the subs up to it to test them out? I know pushing subs from an hu is a joke, this is just to test them.
Any help would be great, thanks. |

Re: Sub to HU temp.
definitely use the speaker outputs, if you use the rcas you're going to fry both the headunit and possibly even the rcas cables as well.

Alright I did. I got a very bassy but somewhat clear output. I guess they work.
Now to find out how to hook up the amp I'm getting tuesday. Thanks for everyone's help, I love this forum. |
