bacon kicks major ass

if i were to swap a b16a1 into a '95 civic dx , would i have to replace the tranny and clutch as well or would the new motor run on the stock shit?

yes you'd have to replace it, a d-series tranny won't bolt up. Also the d-series clutch wouldn't fit the b-series tranny either.

Yes, you'd need to replace the transmission with a B-series transmission. The B16A1 needs a B-series clutch as well. Your Civic has a hydraulic transmission system already, so you'd need at least a second generation B16A2/3 transmission to mate up to it. The B16A1 transmission is a cable transmission.

And yeah, bacon kicks ass.
