how will koni yellows hold up to a 2.5-3in drop? also what are some good springs that give 2-2.75 drop?

I don't know about the Koni part, but my Neuspeed Race springs got me a 2-2.25 drop

I'v seen the koni blues on lowered stuff before. I'm sure they will work, you dont usually start running into probelms till you get around 3.5 inches

Yellows are about the only strut that will last a while with that much of a drop. You will have more issues with ball joints & tie rods than you with the struts.

If it were my car and it was getting lowered that much, I'd only use a high quality set of true coilovers like H&R, Toda, or Tein.

Yellows are awesome, my buddy has some on his 88 supra, the ride is fuckin awesome, no body roll what so ever and it hugs corners like theres no tommorow. also the tires help alot with cornering as well but i liked the ride with the Koni yellows, cant remember what kinda springs he's usin tho

I have Koni yellows and used to have Suspension Techniques springs that lowered it about 2.75 inches after they settled. Koni yellows felt great on them but I had some tire rubbing issues. I picked up a set of Skunk2 coilovers and have them lowered about 1.5-1.75 and they still ride excellent...even after 4 years. Something to look at though is the cost....yellows are around $550 (and you still need springs) or so and a set of (full coilover) Teins are around $850. I would rather go with a true set of coilovers if I could do it all over again.
