Problems

Ok well my car is acting up i think it might be the mas. Here is what it does there is a delay in the gas pedal, but the timing is right on. It smells like gas so i think the injectors are messing up.I need your help to figure out what it is.

Re: Problems

Check your plugs and wires, and make sure the plugs are gapped correctly.

Re: Problems

hey xavier it sounds like that pickup had a clogged up cat. lol we had a civic at the shop i work at, the chick who owned it thought it needed oil so she added 4 quarts. lmfao it was smoking like crazy, clogged up the cat, fried the o2 sensor, fouled the plugs.... lesson learned, dont add 4 quarts of oil to a engine unless its empty.

as for your problem i would check for a boost leak. also pull the intake pipe off going into the throttle body and see if its all black inside. if it is thats carbon from the pcv which will foul up the intake system. clean it with some cleaner the cheap shit from autozone will work fine. make sure to open the throttle and get as far in as you can.
