I have a 02 impala and was wondering one, is there a haynes manual out for it yet, and two, not to sound stupid but how do I change headlight bulbs, how do I take out the headlights.

Yes, there is a haynes manual out there, second to take the headlights out...raise the hood, if you look at the back of the headlight you will see a white tab, you have to pull up on it until it comes loose, there are two of them, one on each side, the second is under the black shroud behind the grill. I just lift up the black plastic and wedge my fingers in there to get them out, others probably prefer to take the plastic piece off.

yeah I ended up finding those, its just two of mine were broke also.....the joys of manufaturers warrenty. but I went into autozone and they said they didnt make have the 02 impala haynes manual yet. there were ones for gm stuff like a lumina and other ones in the same book, prioly becuase there so similar, but it went from like 97 to 01 and the picture on the front of it, had a very different old body style of the lumina, so I dont know if its the same model. I thought the new look of the impalas started on 00 so it would be covered, but thety really arent anything like the late 90s luminas. just a thought I guess. I may just go out and buy the complete service manuals that are like 4 inches thick and tell you absolutly everything.

i changed the headlights out of my 03 and i found that the owners manual has surprisingly good directions on how to do it. check in there. save your self the money on a haynes manual. even when it comes out.
