99 Park avenue
Hello every one, first time posting here and looks like a very nice auto site.
Anyhow, I'm looking for some advice on some things to check and look out for, I just recently bought a 99 park avenue with 93000 miles on it and checked the car facts history and also test drove it "this is also my first ever car" and everything has checked out. Now today I just took it in and had the oil changed, Trans flushed, a new oil filter put in and had the tires rotated. Anything else I should look for or have done atm? Its an Ultra with a supercharger also. |

Re: 99 Park avenue
Sounds like you're off to an awesome start! If the plugs and wires have never been changed, it might be a good idea to change those, but if it runs fine, I wouldn't be too concerned. To check, look for 2 things on the wires, whether they are Delphi, or Delco, and there may be a date stamped on them somewhere. Flatrater will have to verify this, but the cars come from the factory with Delco wires, and the dealer parts are delphi. No difference, just a name
When you get to 150000 you ought to change the coolant too
