replacement engine

i need to know where the best place to buy an engine is. i have looked a lot and i am a little new to buying from a place over the internet so i dont want to get screwed over. if you have bought an engine from somewhere and had a good or bad experience the advice would be very appreciated. i also live in indiana so if there is a place near me that i could pick it up from i would like to know.

Re: replacement engine

Hey! When my engine blew out at 80k I was devistated. But, I had read in a magazine that the Japanese throw out their engines at 40k because they do not have regulations on smog check. My mechanic and I did some research and found a sweet engine in Japan and ordered it. The cost was similar to getting a re-built engine. Good luck!! :-)
