Angry 2000 Silverado AC problems

I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado and the AC quit working. I found the tension pulley for the compresssor was bad and the belt was loose as a result. I replaced both thinking that was the only problem, however it was not. The light on the dash comes on, all the fuses are OK, the relay is good, but I get no power at the low pressure switch. Is there something I missed? Anyone have similar experience. Thanks for reading my post.

A/C Switch

So I guess you have the a/c on (MAX)

Are you checking the high pressure switch near the compressor or the low pressure switch near the passager side of the engine bay?

On the driver side open the box where all the fuse are at.

Flip the top over and you will see the relay and fuse layout.

If the fuse is good. Then maybe the relay is not working.

Pull the fuse for the a/c and see if you are getting any current to the fuse. If so then check the current for the relay ports.

You should have one port that has 12v all the time. Key turn on or not.
When you hit the a/c switch with the engine running you should have another 12v on another port. The other two ports are for ground and running 12v to the compressor.

Does the light come on inside the cab when you push in the a/c switch?

If all this is working then you have a short.
