87 crx in need of swap info

i got an 87 crx with the stock d15a2 engine (carb) and i wanna swap it out for a b16 but i have no idea where to start!i ve never done an engine swap or really paid attention to any til now.i dont have $1000's of dollars to do this all in one shot so it would take some time.i wanna do this my self so i can get the experience of doin this and learn more bout this stuff.Any one have any websites that has like step by step instructions on this?or maybe some where i can get a book that has how to.any help is great

Re: 87 crx in need of swap info

I saw an article awhile back in “sport compact car” that had an 87 build. The put a brown top ZC in it and it was by far the cheapest build I have ever seen. You might want to consider that – don’t even have to buy mounts.
