sterotypes

why do people sterotype cadillac????? (old peoples car) I think they make bad ass cars and im only 19 ill take a cts or sts anyday of the week the cts v now that is just bad ass to the max I have a friend that owns a sts the inside is awesome and bright with its tan color and moon roof open I have never been in a car like it im sure the cts is just as cool inside

It's because you ARE only 19, so you don't remember 50 years of Geritol-Mobiles.
Cadillac have been trying to appeal to younger buyers for 20 years, but have only recently made progress in this directions.

20-30 years ago they were old people cars, today they have evolved. I like the CTSV also!

50 years??? Try 30 years. Yes recently from about 1974 on they were real old farts cars, but in the late sixties, they had just about the most powerful engines you could get other than corvettes, And, their torque ratings were the highest around. My 1968 DeVille convertible can smoke most modern cars and it even has a temp gauge (which they deleted in 1969). besides that it looks sharp with front vent windows, and a sharp rear chrome bumper. They went off the deep end in the seventies, but as folks can see, they are trying to get out of that stereotype and I hope it works. (I just got a 2005 CTS for my wife).
