Clear Taillights Bubls Problem

I just installed some clear taillights (not euro) on my 92 civic hb and I put the red bulbs in there, but there is a problem. At night it does't look like they are bright enough to be legal, and is it illegal to have white turning indicators? Are there any sites where I can buy bulbs for cheap that would show up better? If anybody else has installed clear taillights, please tell me what you did about the red bulbs. These taillights are rare as hell and I've never seen them on the road before.

What kind of bulbs are you using for your clear tailights? Try Polarg Hyper Red bulbs, those should be bright enough at night and the day

It is illgeal in California to have white turn indicators, they have to be amber in the front or amber or red in the back....but laws are different in each state so check your local laws before you modify them

Im pretty sure its illegal in all states because its a DOT rule... turn signals must light up amber, brake lights must be red... hope it helps. Also, try some LED lights in the rear, I hear they are brighter then shit!

Alright, I now know that I need to get some LEDs, but I don't think they make them in all sizes, so I couldn't get tem for my turn indicators. As for front indicators, is it illegal to have them white?

I have seen 1156/1157 LED's in red only and i'm not sure if they make any other colors, but they do make 194 style the ones used in 88-91 Civics/CRX's corner lenses in different colors, You need 1157 bulbs for your Civic.....
And yes it is illegal to have the front turn indicators white....Yeah I know stupid laws we have in California

I still have have Raybrig hyper white bulbs in my corner lenses even though it is illegal, I've had them for over a year now and have'nt gotten pulled over for them, but you can put amber bulbs in if you don't want to drive around with the white ones....yellow bulbs also look cool too....
