Well im sorry that u guys dont think that i need to go faster then 110, just to let u guys know i also have a 2003 mustang cobra svt that tops out at 157mph...i think that will kill me more than the cavalier would...right now at the time the cavalier is in the shop im getting the car lowered and my body kit molded on...i would like to have the govener off cause i do do street races that are SUPERVISED by the police...there is always fire dep. there and at least 30 cops....we sign a waver everythime we race that no one is responsible for the damage for the cars but the owners....and it is longer than a 1/4 mile...im sry if i have affended anyone...but heck no one even answered the question i cared about the most....when i let off the gas on the cavalier somtimes the car just dies....what can make it do that?

your probably applying more power/pressure than your cavalier can take.
check your air filter.

oh and "affended" is..offended.

well if you have a SVT Cobra why would you want to make the cavalier fast? It would take more money than what the car is worth to make it as fast as the cobra. . .

Ill tell you what, you show me some Z rated tires, and brake upgrades, and i will tell you the "Legal Way" to do it. It cost around 300 bucks, but since it seems you got pleanty of money anways, it shouldnt be a problem.

Well lets see...i have a 2003 cobra that im payin on plus insurance, the cavalier is payed off but payin insurance on that as well...i have 5k left to spend on what ever in the hell i want, going to college, plus i work my butt off between school and probably make enough money still to pay on another mustang if i wanted too, and no nuthin was handed to me by my parents...i dont think thats not too bad for being 19 years old...new ties and wheels have already been done...brakes are no a problem
