K&N Typhoon cold air intake for honda accord 03, good/bad?
Hi,
I am thinking about buying the cold air intake from K&N Typhoon for 03 honda accord. (becuase this is the only one that I am sure will fit into my honda accord 03, 4 door, 2.4cyl, auto, w/ MAF) However, I am not familiar with this brand. Can anyone give me some advice about this brand? How does K&N Typhoon compare to AEM and Injen? thx |

Your not familiar with K&N? okay....they have pretty much been the leader in filter technology since 1969, way before AEM and Injen were even conceived...blah blah blah you can read it here

Re: K&N Typhoon cold air intake for honda accord 03, good/bad?
K&N is one of the best in filtration and flow...not to mention it is legal(if you live in Cali and that matters). As far as comparing to AEM and Injen...well it's just as good in quality. Now if you simply meant how does it compare as far as added hp...all intakes are the same...I don't care what they advertise, or what you read, you wont get more than 5hp. An AEM and a $30 dollar intake off ebay will give you the same results. If you want a namebrand, then AEM, Injen, and K&N are all great. But if filtration + quality isn't important to you and you just want power, save yourself some money and get one off ebay.
