how to remove the stock sterio
i have a 96 vw golf gti vr6 and i want to put a after market sterio in there howcan i take out the sterio thats allready in there? somebody told me to poke the 4 holes areound the sterio with a stick and i did but it wouldnt come out??? some help please... THANK YOU SO MUCH

It's alot better to use the special tool for those holes. It looks like a horseshoe (two of them, one for each side). Widely available at most auto parts stores.
