Re: supercharge?

Well a supercharger works like an extra belt...a turbo is more like a wheel spinning more air into your engine...the advantage of having the supercharger is no lag, as opposed to the turbo...I think the advantges of having a turbo is that you can increase boost...i might not be clear or my be wrong so correct me if so....there was this one site i went across about this subject i wish i remebered it

Re: supercharge?

That being said....is it possible to have a turbocharger and a supercharger...or would that be pointless?

Re: supercharge?

no you cant have both there is not enoguh room in a engine to fit both and i belive it would be pointless. But there is an alternative a reletivly new thing. Its called a powercharger i think, where it uses both the serpentine belt and the excess exaust to run the compressor. Which would mean no lag but still ajustable boost.

Re: supercharge?

thats the only electric supercharger on the market that actually works.. because its a actual eaton being powered by electric... however that is almost like nitrous.. because you can only use in in short burst for a limited time. however i think it would be great for something like a drag car..

Fat people in DSM's

Ok why is it that whenever i see an eclipse with a body kit and a big wing and shit. The guy is always wearing a hat and he is like 280 pounds and when he gets out he has to lean on the door and shit to get out. Like every other body kitted eclipse i see has a big guy over 250 pounds in it? is it me or do big fat guys like eclipses?
