help fixing bent a pillars.

hey guys. i was digging around my garage today and found an old toyota sard supra gt model that i had started about 4-5 years ago but never finished. its almost 70% complete but the a pillars on the body are bent because it was crushed by something. does anyone have any tips on how to fix this problem?

Well it is hard to say without a picture. If it not bad you could simply bend them back. If that doesnt work you could try reinforcing it with something.

search a little bit for your answer, this has been talked about.

different methods-

-very hot hot water, place model in it, for a while, bend to proper shape, and find some way to hold it in that shape till it cools.

hairdryer- just like mentioned above, you get the idea... BE CAREFUL DONT MELT THE MODEL!!!!!!!!!!

damnit! sholdve post earlier like 2 months earlier. i built my car with bent pilar. oh well good to kno. now i can use that tactic for repairing my future cars

Yeah, don't go too hard on the heat, I have that ford F-100 that have the entire body to redo... too much bend in it ! Well now it's a piece of a diorama as a scrap truck !
