Re: installing new 6.5'' speakers in front.... anybody know how?
It's easy and should not take long at all. You need to remove the screws in the door (I think there are 3) There is ALSO the one behind the handle that you use to open the door & one under the little plastic piece at the bottom of the handle that you use to close the door. Now you want to remove the entire panel from the door. Other than the screws, the door is also held on with those annoying little plastic push clips. Just grab ahold of the bottom of the panel and GENTLY pull towards you. You will hear them pop. Work your way around the door until you get them all detached. Lift up (i.e. parallel to the window) on the entire panel. Disconnect the power window switch (If you have power windows) by pushing down on the tab of the electrical harness. Now, all you have to do is remove the screws that hold the speaker in place and unhook the electrical harness hooked up to the speaker. Bingo, installation is the reverse of removal (I fucking hate when people say that!!! )
