Angry need help! engine check light with rough idle!

I have a 1994 saturn SC2. i've driven the car for 6 years. it has 117,000 mi. on it. the check engine light has been flicking on and off for 3 years. just recently it has been idling either too high (3200RPM) or too low (800RPM, barely stays running). took it to autozone and they pulled the codes but they didn't know what the codes meant. can anybody help!! ? ?

codes:

26
Quad driver module (QDM) Fault

32 EGR system Fault

HELP!!

Re: need help! engine check light with rough idle!

very common, the EGR system is clogged with carbon. sometimes just taking it off and cleaning it will fix the problem, othertimes replacement is nessicary(plus a little cleaning anyways. most 94s have a vacuum EGR shaped like a shapeship, with a second peice mounted on the valve cover. 94s with californa emissions have an electric EGR shaped like a round black cylinder. both systems and mounted on the cylinder head between the valve cover and intake tubes. use sensor-safe carb and choke cleaner, spray the passiages in the cylinder head too. replace the gasket to or you will have more problems($5 peice). if you feel like cleaning some more, the throttle body gets alot of gunk too.
