i have a 99 honda prelude. i bought the car used with 122,000 miles. need to know if the timing belt was replaced recently. is it possible to remove the upper timing belt cover without having to remove the valve cover?
i see 2 screws that hold the top timing belt cover, i removed them but cover still isn't coming off? if i have to remove the valve cover, how much trouble is this? help... |

Re: upper timing belt cover
The valve cover is ludicrously easy to remove. Just remember to seal the edges off with some silicon before you put it back on.
