best shifting method?
I got a stock 99' Nissan Sentra GXE LTD. I wanted to know the way to shift to get the best speed for automatic gears.. I think its, O/D off, stay on 1st gear until bout 30mph > turn O/D on > and then go into 2nd? I plan to do alot more shit to my car and get an engine swap..

Ummm... Let me put it like this, OD has nothing to do with the shifting of the tranny. It is strictly an economical feature of the tranny when you are cruising at a steady rate of speed on the highway. THAT IS IT. Shift from first to second when you start to wind out so much that you hit the rev limiter, you should have shifted just before that, and for God's sake man, do NOT let Nissan know that this is what you are doing. You will void your warranty so quick. This is why they put the rev limiter on the car, so that it would keep you from revving it to high.
