Car Names?
Hello! I was just thinking about the G6 name. What does everyone think about it? I'm not sure where the name came from. I'm sure people here could come up with a better name! Any ideas?

i hate how there giving cars names like that. like all the Infinitis and bmw's number cars. then now the big 3, like Lincoln's "LS".

i heard that the bonnaville replacement will be the G8, and the sunfire G4. That would suck, id rather just keep the same names.

from what i heard the G6 name is refering to it being the 6th generation Grand Am, since this is susposed to replace the Grand Am without actually using the grand am name plate even though it's a "new" grand am and the current body style of the 99-04/05? is the 5th generation. I did hear about them thinking of doing a G8 but i don't think it's gonna take place, if anything it may be a trim line like the Bonneville G8, GXP Etc
