If it looks clean .. is the pump right there think i may just change it... will i need any gaskets ? if any one has any link or good direction please forward... I am pretty novice at this but not affraid to get my hands dirty I also want to do my tranny oil and filter ? same questions... thanks Dave |

Re: oil / tranny oil change a few questions....
Yes, it is easy, the pan is kinda difficult to get off the engine, just make sure u jack the jeep up so that the wheel are off the ground but do not jack it up on the Axle, b/c the axle/wheels need to hang as low as the suspension will allow. once u got it up and on jackstands, then place the jack under the bellhouse of the tranny and jack it up, so it will jack the engin/tranny up so there will be engough room to squeeze the pain in between the tranny and the exhuast. if u need some instructions email me, joe [email protected]
