Angry Starting Problems 4 fuel pumps

I Have a 1995 olds Delta 88 with a fuel problem. Sometimes it just stops running no fuel. I have changed the pump and filter 4 times in the past month. It will run fine for a day then you go out to start it and nothing .It turns over fine but just will not start. Or sometimes it will start for a few seconds and die. I have also changed the plugs and wires and had a resistor put in the security system to have the Key eliminated. I was wondering what else I could try I am at wits end Thanks

Re: Starting Problems 4 fuel pumps

Since you have changed the pump 4 times, how hard is it to remove the tank just curious? And how did you make out with the problem?

Re: Starting Problems 4 fuel pumps

What brand of pump have you been using? GM has a new part number pump and strainer part numbers
88962472 pump, 88963067 strainer. This is for non-supercharged appliacations only.

Re: Starting Problems 4 fuel pumps

Test your fuel pressure. It might be your fuel pressure regulator.
