outside temperature reading

Recently I bought a 2001 Sonoma crewcab the outside temp readout is there but says OC all the time. Does anyone know where the sensor is located. Thanks. Mike

hello, the sensor is located on the vertical radiator support bar, right in front of the radiator. There should be 2 wires to the sensor, one light green/black and the other black. I reached it easiest by reaching up underneath the bumper. To test if the sensor is bad, just short out the connectors with a peice of wire. Your display should read "sc". -goodluck
