1997 Escort "pulling"

Hi, my car seems to be "pulling" just for a second either when I shift and let out the clutch or hit any kind of bump/hole. It doesn't really require any steering correction, but I can feel it tug for a second. It pulls either left or right; doesn't seem to go one way more than the other. I have a '97 Escort LX with approx 114k on it. Also, I don't plan on keeping it more than another 6-8 months, so if you can diagnose it, would it even be worth the $ to do it?

Re: 1997 Escort "pulling"

seems to of been the tires; I hadn't rotated them at all this year and the fronts were worn unevenly; moved the backs up front and seems to fixed the problem
