Need Info
Will someone please explain what DRL and ALC malfunctions are?
My 1998 Cutlass' 'Service Vehicle Soon' sensor stays on most of the time. The car runs fine. In fact, the car runs better when this light is active, as opposed to the rare occassion that the light isn't present. According to my car manual, if this light stays on it says that the system has detected a problem on the vehicle such as a DRL or ALC malfunction. Are these malfunctions related to the emission system or something else?
