gears for street and strip?

OK I have a 67 ford galaxie and am going to get new gears for the rearend and want to know how high I can go to do good at the strip and still be able to drive it around town I was thinken of some 4.11's but want your opinions- I will barely ever drive on a highway with this car so its all in town driving if that helps. Thanks!

I have used 2.73, 3.55, 3.73, 4.11, and 4.56 gears at one point or another in my Nova. I can tell you from personal experience that the best gears for both street and strip applications would either be a 3.55 or a 3.73. They will both give you the bite out the hole you want but will keep the car streetable.
